“Evidence as to the following elements of damages may be elicited from the dentist, from plaintiff, or from other witnesses in cases involving the need for a fixed bridge restoration as the result of negligence or other tort: Cost of dental treatment, including expenses for repeated visits, construction of artificial teeth, etc.; Discomfort in using temporary stayplate when eating or speaking; Discomfort in having wax-like material placed in mouth for the sake of taking impressions; Permanent change in appearance and efficiency of healthy teeth adjacent to missing tooth because of necessity to grind them down in treatment; “Funny” feeling of fixed bridge, as though foreign object were imbedded in dental arch; Permanence of loss as regards missing tooth; Medical expenses and other elements common to all personal injury actions.”
